We have started remodeling our upstairs bath. This is the kids bathroom. I found a great deal on a vanity, and now we have picked out some flooring. Yesterday, Jeff tore out the old vanity and ripped up the floor to find.....MOLD! UGH! I just knew it. It is around the toilet. So, it looks like the job will take a lot longer than we thought. The floor has to dry out and then Jeff has to clean the floor and maybe replace the wood. Then, we can start making it look pretty. We have a friend coming to spend the night October 3rd, and now I am afraid it is not going to be done by then! :(
Has anyone else dealt with this, and if so, how did you clean it all up?

We have, but the difference was, ours is on a slab. We just bleached it and laid the new flooring. I'm not sure how it works with wood flooring underneath! I know the frustration of home repairs. ((hugs))
WE have that problem right now in our upstairs bathroom, but it's around the shower. We have drywall that is cracking and it all came from a dripping shower. We thought we could just get the shower fixed, but now it looks like it may be in the wall....such a bummer, I know. This will a pretty penny.
Triple coupons....the stores advertise it. Talk to the stores in your area to see who doubles coupons. That alone would be great, but triple is the bomb. That only happens every 3-4 months. I will address it in the next week or so. Just thought people might be getting bored with all the grocery posts.
