Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Halloween. This morning, the kids woke up to spiced pumpkin pancakes, shaped like ghosts and pumpkins. Jaden really enjoyed that. We went for a walk in the park. I really enjoy these nice Fall days. I am anxious for tonight. Jaden is so excited about trick or treating! The kids are just especially cute this year!

Jeff is still sick. He has been fighting his cold for a week now. The kids are almost over it. I was sick yesterday, but it seems to be going away already!

I am having a Pampered Chef show this Tuesday. I am excited about that! If anyone wants to order anything, please email me!!!!!

A brand new week!

We had so much fun the other night at the park. They have an unhaunted halloween train ride there every year. This year, Cassidy also got to enjoy it. The kids dressed up and Cassidy even got her picture taken by one of the park people. Maybe her picture will be in the paper!

Jaden had a great time also. He loves his pirate costume!

I will post pictures after Halloween, I want some people to be surprised when they see them!

I love Mondays. I feel like I get to start fresh! This week I plan on thoroughly cleaning the house, after everyone has been sick, I feel like this needs to be done! I also plan on losing another pound. My body is being very stubborn this time around. I only have 18 pounds left! It is coming off very slowly!

Pumpkins, Vaporizers, and New Hairdos

Well, as I said the other day, I got my hair chemically straightened. I can now post a picture! It's not the best picture ever, but at least everyone can see my hair:

This morning I decided to buy a vaporizer. I have often told myself we needed one, but have never bought one. I think it made a huge difference in Cassidy's throat! She is feeling so much better! I have had it on all day, and now it is in her room while she sleeps. Jeff is also not feeling well now! We need more of those vaporizers!

We carved Jaden and Cassidy's pumpkins tonight! They had so much fun. Cassidy couldn't stay out of the trash, hahaha! Here are a few pictures!

A break!

So glad I had a break today. My mom watched the kids (thank you!) and I headed out to the hair salon! I needed a change. So, I got my hair straightened. It should last a couple of months. I really don't know if I will keep it straight or not. I have been thinking of doing this. I love the way it looks! I will post a picture soon.
The kids are doing okay. Cassidy is now sick. We thought she was over it, but it came back! She hasn't had her pacifier all day. I figured it would make it even harder to breath! So, she went to sleep for naptime without it! Yay!
Jaden has basketball tonight. This seems to roll around so fast! I can't believe how fast the weeks fly by!

Some pictures from our weekend!

We had a great weekend. On Saturday, we went to a friend's house in Plainfield. We had a blast. I ordered a couple of books for Jaden and the kids played all day! Afterward, we met Jeff at Donato's and had a fattening supper! It was nice!

Sunday, we went to Pumpkin Works and picked out our pumpkins and walked through the maze. The kids had a wonderful time there, also (except the clowns!). Last night, we had homemade potato soup. That always tastes so good on a Fall day!

Jaden and I made some cupcakes and we ate a few! Today, we have to work it all off! I plan on taking the kids to the park.

Marshmallow Creme

Allowance

We have decided to start giving Jaden an allowance. It is up to him to decide how he wants to spend it. We started a few weeks ago, and he gets $1 every evening if he has done all of his chores WITHOUT fuss. This is so hard for Jaden to do. He did make some money, and he decided to save it for awhile, until yesterday! He bought the Scooby Doo board game! He loves it! He even counted his money out to the cashier. He said he wants to save it up again to buy a Scooby Video that he saw. I don't know how long it will take, but yesterday, he did all of his chores and this morning has started off well. It is exciting to see him learn about money and to see him decide to save! I wish I could learn that, LOL!
It has been so nice outside, so I plan on taking the kids for a walk today. I also plan on getting some Halloween decorations, and having Jaden help me decorate. I think he will like that!
Saturday, we will be in Indianapolis, going to a book party and doing a little window shopping! I hope the kids will enjoy that!
Sunday, we will go to the pumpkin patch , and pick out our pumpkins. This is something I look forward to all year! I can't wait!
Jeff's inventory is going on, so he is working a lot right now. He even has to work on Sunday, but only in the morning!

Pioneer Days

We enjoyed Pioneer Days this past weekend. But, we didn't enjoy the 90 degree weather! When is it ever going to cool off! All of us were hot! We enjoyed it very much though. We also tried to have a yard sale. That was a flop, but I found someone to sell all of my kids clothes to. So, that wasn't bad!

Jaden begins basketball on the 16th! We can't wait! I hope he enjoys it this year. I have the kid's Halloween costumes all finished and they will be........

Clay will be on "Are you Smarter than a Fifth Grader" on October 11th, 2007!! Please, everyone, watch!!!!! I heard it's going to be good!

Sorry I have been MIA!

Truthfully, I just haven't had much to post!
Jaden got a new bed the other day. Once we get a mattress, I will post pictures. It is a loft bed! I am a little nervous about it. He likes to get up at around 2 or 3 and come in our bed. Well, I am worried about him waking up then and climbing down a ladder! He picked out some dinosaur bedding. He is very excited about it!
Cassidy is trying to talk. She now says baby, daddy, mama, ball, spongebob (lol), and WEEEEE! When she is riding on a toy, she says, "Weeee". It is the cutest thing ever!
We are having a yard sale this Saturday. We bought Clay Aiken tickets for November in South Bend, so we need to make some money! I can't wait! We got the 10th row. Well, actually, row C, but after all of the pit seats, it will be row 10! It will be how we celebrate our 5th anniversary!
The weightloss is going well, I have lost a pound and I have a feeling I will be losing a lot more soon. I am in serious mode now! I did all of my exercises last night! I plan on doing them every night!
