It is officially Spring!

Our ducks have ducklings! It is the cutest thing ever!

I just couldn't believe it when I saw it this morning! It was even more exciting when they all came up on our patio!!! How cool!

Cassidy did something amazing today! She peed in her potty! She said, "Poopy!" and we thought she went in her diaper. Jeff checked, and she didn't. She kept squirming and saying it. So, she went in the bathroom and pulled out her potty! LOL! I pulled her pants down and sat her on it. She cried a bit and then, tried to poop! I was so proud of her. She peed a little and we were thrilled! I am sure it was a fluke, but, wow, the thought of no diapers excites me!

I got my Mother's Day gift early today from Jeff and the kids! A new vacuum! I have really been needing one! I love it!

Jaden and I went shopping tonight for Cassidy's birthday! I found the cutest doll for her. It is the Baby Alive birthday doll. It has a little cupcake with it! The cutest thing! We also got a parachute (like in kindergarten when you bounce balls on it and run under it)! That will be fun for Jaden and her! I got her a new baby stroller, since she broke her other one. I hope she has a great birthday! Her party will be this Saturday! We are just having family over, a small party.

Hope everyone is having a great week and I am going to sweep all of my floors tomorrow! LOL

Yard Sale!

We had a successful yard sale! We made $40 from the cupcakes! Unbelievable!!!!

Jaden had fun being a salesman! He even said, "Homemade Cupcakes, Homemade Cupcakes, Homemade Cupcakes!" to everyone. Very cute! I was proud of him today. He stayed out with me for the entire time! I got to do a little shopping in the neighborhood too. It was a fun, but very long day. I am ready for bed....

Tomorrow, is Sunday, which means church and visiting with my mom and dad. Boy, I am tired.....

Oh yeah, yesterday the ice cream truck came through! The kids were excited!

Yard Sale!

Tomorrow is our subdivision yard sale! I can't wait, but I also hate the hassle. I am getting things ready today. We don't have too much to put in, so it's not that bad. But, I did make cupcakes to sell. Jaden is going to sit at his picnic table and sell them. He is great at sales! I am sure he will get people to buy some. I made some yesterday and today. I just love the recipes I have for these! They are absolutely delicious! I hope others think so too!

Jobs

My husband has been so stressed out about his job. He has had this feeling that something isn't going right. And today, he found out that the CEO is resigning! Wow, if that isn't a sign to get out!!! So, now he is looking at other opportunities. He has been in sales and management for 2o years, and we are hoping this will help him find something more stable. Please keep your prayers with us for any leads we can find.
Today, I made some cupcakes for our garage sale on Saturday. I am thinking of making vanilla with different colors of buttercream and chocolate with chocolate icing. Does that sound good? How much should I price them?

Redecorating, sprinklers, and backward jammies!

It has been a very hectic week. Not only have I been redecorating our bathroom, but I have had to deal with bedsheets filled with pee twice a day! UGH! For the past two weeks, Cassidy has decided to take her diaper off every time she goes to bed! So, every morning the bed is filled with pee and every afternoon!!!!! I was really at my wits end! So, Jeff came up with the brilliant idea of putting her jammies on backwards!

And, it worked! The bed has been dry ever since! YAY! This makes my days so much better. I am less stressed and very happy to send her to bed now!
I have our bathroom almost finished. Jeff installed the new light yesterday and hung the mirror. The mirror seems a little crooked though. I still need to get a towel ring and some kind of art for the wall.

The weather was really nice over the past few days. We had a small earthquake, that was cool! I even felt the aftershock during my MOPS meeting. The temperature has been in the 70's, which gave Jaden the opportunity to play in some water! He loved it!

Softball

Unfortunately, Jaden's basketball has been canceled. We are disappointed in this, but have decided to sign him up for softball. We are not sure if he is ready for softball, but it is worth a try. I am not sure he has the patience for it. We will see! It begins in May.

The bump is still on my neck. I have decided I will go to the doctor if it is still there after the weekend. It doesn't hurt at all, just a slight pressure on my neck. I am praying that it goes away!!!!

Today will be another nice day outside, so I plan on taking the kids for a walk and to the playground. I would like to do some shopping since I just finished painting our downstairs bathroom. I found a mirror last week and I still need to buy a light fixture. I haven't found the right one yet. I also need to buy a new towel bar.

BUMP!

Yesterday, I was sitting outside watching the kids play and I felt a bump on my neck. It is on the side of my neck! I sat there trying to think of what it could be. I did do some different exercises yesterday that might have strained my neck, but why would it cause a bump. Very weird. I am a little nervous about it and I am hoping it will just go away!

Speaking of exercises, I did Jillian Michael's Shred video, and wow! What a workout! Every muscle aches today! I noticed that the scale is still the same. I hope to be down by tomorrow or the next day. My clothes really feel different!

Today, I am wearing my hair curly. I don't like it as much, but it is still cute.

Last night, I decided that we needed to get the kids new bathtub toys. We were tired of seeing the gross black stuff that gathers inside the squirters. So, today we bagged up the nasty old toys and threw them away. We found some great toys for them now! (holeless! LOL)

During Cassidy's nap, Jaden and I cleaned up the trash around the pond. Jaden was excited to do it and I thought it taught him a good lesson.

The new do!

Okay, these are after a long day, but it looks really cute! I need to work on straightening the back better. I do love that I can wear this curly or straight. I might even do some funky spikes on the bottom of the back! What a fun hairdo!!!

Haircut!

I got a new haircut. I have really been thinking about it the last few weeks, and really decided I needed it done! What is it with women losing weight and then getting a short hair cut! LOL
I will try to post pics later today or tomorrow.
I have a complete mess in the house today. I decided to start priming the walls in the bathroom and get that finished this week! The primer is PINK! My bathroom looks like someone threw up all over! UGH! Not that I don't like pink, just in that small of a room, it looks hideous!

More cupcakes....

Last night, I decided to make some more cupcakes. I don't think I will ever get tired of doing that. But, I hate that I can't just eat all that I want. If I eat one, I have to exercise harder! That gets old. I did notice my weight was up a pound today, so I need to be careful.

Lots of Updates!

Well, I finally found my camera. It was in a laundry basket full of upstairs "stuff"! I am really trying to get organized and it doesn't help that I put things where they don't belong! LOL
A lot of things have been going on. I got Cassidy's invitations finished and mailed out. They are just too cute! I am just having family over and we are going to have a cupcake party!

It is so excited when I find great deals! I just couldn't believe that lamp! Cassidy's bedding is from Pottery Barn, so it just surprised me that Big Lots would have that lamp!

The other day, Jeff was stressed with work, so when he came home we took the kids to the playground and went out to eat! Now, this was not the best thing for me. I am at my lowest weight in 10 years and I only have 13 more pounds to lose. Well, we went to Mozzi's Pizza. I had heard it was good. Little did I know that it is a BUFFET! A dieter's worst nightmare! Let's just say, I ate way too much that day! But, the kids were free! How great is that! Jaden loved it. He didn't know what a buffet was, so he thought it was cool!

I found out yesterday my mom went to the hospital to get some tests on her heart. The doctor made her stay the night there last night. I just hope everyone can say some prayers for her. It doesn't seem serious, just a pain for her.

The weather has been so nice, but it is suppose to get cold this weekend. I already got my first sunburn of the year! I would love it to stay 70 degrees all year long!

I have been invited to a Close To My Heart party on Cassidy's birthday. I am planning on going there for an hour before Cassidy's party starts! Am I crazy! Also, I have been invited to go scrapbooking with the same people once a month. This sounds very exciting! I can't wait!

I went to my first MOPS meeting last weekend. It was awesome! What a great way to meet other Godly women and children. God is really working in my life and it is nice to see him working in others

My Birthday!

Well, it is my 30th birthday and I don't feel any older. I guess I never have! I wonder when I will feel "old"?

I went to Michaels and Hobby Lobby this morning to find some paper for Cassidy's birthday invitations. I found her some plates and napkins too! We are having a cupcake party! I am so excited. I plan on making three different kinds of cupcakes with fillings. I started the invitations today! They are so cute!

Happy Birthday to me!

Jeff and the kids celebrated my birthday today since he works tomorrow. So, I woke up to this:

Yesterday was April Fool's Day! I couldn't let the holiday go without doing something to Jeff and Jaden! Jaden was having so much fun fooling me all day! So, I tricked him at supper with a cup full of JELLO!


Then, I tricked Jeff with these "cupcakes"! They were actually meatloaf and mashed potatoes!!!! It was fun seeing him be fooled!

One of the things I am loving about our new home is the amount of ducks near our house. I realized that feeding them bread was not good, so we bought some cracked corn for them. Wow, they love it!!!!

We noticed today that one of the geese has a nest by the water. I can't wait to see the goslings!
